I don't think I read that one, McGoohan but I did get really confused when I read Anthony and Cleopatra because I only remembered the first triumvirate so it didn't make any sense. Ah, before the days when you could just ask your laptop! Shakespeare did (whisper it) write a lot of rubbish in amongst the greats. I'm sure if I wrote that quantity, just on the balance of probabilities, some of it would turn out to be genius. Or not. |

*Wanders in. Waves. Wanders out again to go and lie down in a dark corner* Taperitis - no, not me. Expo - not excited at all. Totally focused on my work. Not boring everyone silly with my plans for the next 72 hours. Haven't mapped out my every move. Completely decisive about what to wear, eat, when to sleep, does gardening count as resting, shall I take a chair to marshall at pr tomorrow etc, etc. *wanders off muttering to self* |

I never knew that about Portsmouth either. Nor about Pompey the Great, the less great, or the large bummed. Unfortunately, though, I find my capacity to retain new knowledge is increasingly poor, so the next time someone asks where Pompey-land is, I shall still probably have no idea...

Caught up again, some made me laugh, needed that - the one house I'd like to live in sold from under my nose yesterday whilst mr.f was away this week, you have to be quick it it seems. Was an over priced heap of **** but in nearly perfect place. Wish I could remember everything I've learned too, love local history but keep forgetting..... |

Hi all, Not ran since Monday but I was planning a run this morning but arm still sore so don't want to aggregate it as the tat was on the inside of the upper arm. Fence painting today. Only another 50 metres of fence to paint. But at least the 5 bar gate looks good out front. Hope the VLM runners are relaxed. Will watch as much as I can from the comfort of the sofa. |

I've been out on my bike for my "rest" day. I was cycling along the prom holding on with only my right hand for a while saying "this is for Daisy". ![]() |

I "did" Measure for Measure for A level English, but I don't remember Pompey Bum. We were taken to see it at Stratford, too. With Marius Goring. But I still don't remember Pompey Bum. |
