Love Lambageddon!
Hope you can sort your mum out, LD.
Spinning this evening. We have new bikes too. I haven't had a chance to play with them yet.

Morning all. Feel much better after a 90 min nap last night, dinner, a quick chat and then back to bed. Ran in; will run home, so all missed miles accounted for and the double run does a lot for my confidence.
I'll also be helping at VMLM Fetchpoint. There's nothing quite like it

Envious of .B. running with a Fetchie and getting a new sticker. I've have run home from the garage. The first mile was horrible because it's along one of the main routes from the motorway into town and at 8:30am you can imagine how clean the air was but when I got home I was disappointed to find it wasn't *quite* four miles so I have to run up and down the garden a bit to make it 4.01 miles When I go back to collect the car it's all downhill so I'll go a slightly different route. The garage people might think it strange if I run around their forecourt to bring up the 4 mile mark

Ridiculously cold here, even by my standards, so I cut 10 min of my planned 90 min run last night. My legs and my Garmin had a significant difference of opinion regarding how fast I was going too. I wasn't exactly pushing it, but I didn't think I was *that* slow.
When I got in and got undressed, my arms and legs went bright red, itchy and with weals and dimples. I think it's a kind of hives reaction to the cold. Of course, I left the sodding antihistamines in Italy so I had to wait it out.
No running today and traveling tomorrow but I might squeeze in a treadmill shuffle at CPH Hilton tomorrow evening.

Giving a ITG a 22 mile head start this week and I've 'only' got a HM on the cards for Sunday. Not sure I'm going to catch her before the end of the month

I'm tapering, oh starry one! I've a 15k on Saturday and then it's all little bursts until the marathon 2nd April. I've got a half on 9th April, then I'm putting my feet up (or maybe digging the bike out).
Last night, I finished the Roma marathon in 3.40. I was soooo happy as I never thought I'd ever come close to a time like that and don't really expect to break 4 hours. Then I woke up, realised it was a dream, and was quite deeply disappointed. I also decided I will be sad when I finish the marathon for real, because there is no chance of making that time. I will never be as happy as I was in that dream. Sniff. [I feel a bit less dramatic in the (very) cold light of day. A medal is a medal after all! And a t-shirt! And a bag!]
