Happy Lake District Birthday Lemon10, hoping your back recovers quickly today, fingers tightly Xed.
Plankathon has given me, well, hilariously funny is the best way to describe it, doms, had trouble just rolling out of bed. Also, I noticed which bits of various swimming/drills use tummy muscles (I find the strangest things interesting).

I cannot keep up with all you lot. I do like a foxy pair of heels but I'm in flat shoes, mostly trainers, till the back recovers.

Planning a 1500m swim time trial tonight with my swim buddy.

Reggie is fabulous! I love his hair too.

and cake for Lemon.

I forgot to say I am celebrating as my malevolent boss has just quit. My other, most deeply malevolent colleague is on sabbatical for this academic year, which means I might even enjoy work for a bit.

Happy Birthday Lemon 🎂🎁🎂🎁

Well done AL. Cracking time.

I had intended on a fairly relaxing time at the gym. Did wee run. Then an aqua Class. Was going to spend time in jacuzzi but it was shut. Went into sauna for wee while. Then usual shower. Unfortunately overheated in the shower and managed to faint. Thankfully at least had my towel on! Was lucky to come away pretty much unscathed. Just a tiny wee cut above my eye. Rather embarrassed at all the fuss though.

Oh dear Kim, fainting is not nice. Take it easy!

Not going to run today. I've just had a good (ie very wince-inducing) physio session on my elbow (can you believe they *still* haven't signed me off - I think the lovely Maja has made it her mission to get my arm completely straight again :-0) and I've got loads of shredding to clear in the garden. That will do for a rest day.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
