Managed a 1.5k swim and planning crossfit tomorrow - without the lifting or the situp so I'm not sure how that will work! My aim is to try to do something every day, even if it's just a half-hour jog or a half-hour swim.

FML, I can only imagine Brighton seafront at this time of year. It was bad enough in April.

Good plan ITG :)

Arrived safely in Crete. Godawful stressful journey which wouldn't have been if not for Dad, who gets angry about *everything* and makes travelling a total nightmare. Might have to blog, I'm still shaking a bit.

oof, Carp, sounds like a tough one.

I am sort of settled, at least for a few weeks. Off again around 12th October and hoping the back will be better by then. I have physio booked.

Gym tonight for me. Wee bit of weights, 35 mins on exercise bike and 6 mins of fastish walking on the treadmill.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
