Morning all,

So I took delivery of some new shoes earlier in the week, some Asics Kayano 23s. Not run in Asics Kayano's since the 18. I fell out of favour with them as they just didn't last. But thought I'd give the newer model a go. Two 5k jogs in them so far and they are giving my feet grief. Not happy.

FML, I nearly opted for Lincoln this year but decided to stay at Mablethorpe so I can best gauge an annual improvement (if any). And now I find out they have changed the route so more of the prom is on the route. Hope that blooming wind that hit last year isn't there this year.

I just got sidetracked following links after I read Roobarb's blog and googled the viaduct she was talking about.....
and ended up on Rightmove and found this:
rightmove.co.uk

I could stump up the £999 at a push - can we raise the other £999000 for a 700ers commune up north?

Did you read in the details of that property it says a previous occupant has died at the property and to call for further details. Is that to find out if the deceased now haunts the place or what?! But apart from that would make an ideal Fetch commune!

How very odd! In any old house there's a chance that an occupant died there but it's not the sort of thing an estate agent needs to mention!

I couldn't resist a google...the previous owner ran up huge debts and jumped to his death from the tower. The estate agents say they are obliged by law to mention the death :-0. I had no idea of that.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
