So gutted to be missing it this year!
I'm sitting on my hands until online entry closes. You know, just in case.
(I know doing it would be a stupid idea this year but - gah)
I did a short run earlier. It absolutely hacked it down, I was wearing a waterproof jacket but was soaked to the skin by the time I arrived at the gym for Balance class. I wasn't even dry by the end of class so skipped the meditation section, did an abbreviated weight machine routine and went to sit in the steam room.

Great pics, those were the ones I was thinking of.
Amazingly my costume still survives, it needs an excuse for an outing maybe I should wear it for parkrun on Saturday (meeting another Bernard-guess who-, we'll have a 'not the big of doom' run)

Sat in Dubai airport enroute back to work. Had a great time at home but not really run much in Jan. I managed to avoid the lurch the rest of the family had over the festive period but it's hit me over the last week. Knew I wasn't right when I went out with the dogs last Thursday. It's on my chest quite bad but not too cold like.
At least it's not -16 at night and smoggy as at work :rollseyes:
In other news I've brought adequate supplies of nicotine patches back with me and the time to become smoke free is nearly upon me.
