for Pothunter! Hope the ambulance case is ok.
I should have gone for a run when I woke at 6:20 but I went back to sleep Now need to oversee a phone being installed in my mum's room (ie I know BT know how to do it but my mum will need to have all her most-used numbers entered in the speed-dial facility on the phone) then it's physio with two physios and then it's a drive up to Nottingham to collect the dog.
So running might not happen today after all

Morning all. for PH
Columba - I was actually working at the zoo when they started the friendly spider programme. I attended the first one and ended theday holding a red knee bird eating spider. But it didn't actually tackle the specifics of the phobia so didn't help in that respect I'm afraid.

Just the words "red knee bird eating spider" make me feel sick TeeBee!
I went to the stupormarket instead of running or swimming this morning

Morning! Forgot to say glad you are settled in Oz FP! And well done (thankyou!) to PH for PB-ing.
Did a nighttime swim last night, good wheeze but not wearing my wetsuit made me quite quite slow and I was last. And collected half the pondweed in the lake on my glowing balloon
Off to talk to Mum's Stroke club about my exercising/fundraising, then figure out exactly what is going on with her arm (I think we're up to the 3rd consultant now, and it's changed again (she broke it, they didn't pin it at the time due to concerns about anaesthetic when on blood thinners or something but apparently that was wrong as she hasn't had a repeat Stroke in 3 years, now it's healed "wrong" and aches and hasn't full mobility but maybe they can fix it and keep changing their minds how))
Bit less upset about job now, it did rather made me think that I really don't want to go back to IT support again, so may go look at other events companies etc... Things to consider.

Glad you're taking something positive from it, JC. Hope you can get something sorted about your mum's arm.
Morning
I'm working from home today, which is a good job as I have the start of a sick headache. I hardly ever get them, so not sure what's going on. Tension, I guess

Knowing what you don't want is useful, as well as having some ideas about what you might want, JC.
Getting my bike out of the shed later for the first time this year! I'd usually have cycled to uni a few times by now but have hardly been in this year compared with normal. I hate cycling in the immediate area where I live as the roads and driving round here are horrific, but I love cycling along the canal.

Morning all
Well this week is becoming more and more frustrating as it goes along. The cold has decided to sit on my chest for the last couple of days which means a lot of coughing and breathing not being completely right. But I will try to get out for a run tomorrow morning.
Plans for the weekend have been forced to change as well as an unexpected trip up to the Stockton-upon-Tees area has come about. Not ideal when I've got 32 on the cards over the weekend but will try to keep the 22 miler on the cards just need to find a suitable route to run when I get up there. I'm travelling early Saturday morning so may force myself to get up and out early Saturday morning to get a few extra miles in the legs.
