I've got some liquid I now take once a week which is meant to give me a vit D boost.

I don't know if the vit D deficiency is linked to the stomach probs or not. :-(

Also confusing as I'm an outdoors kind of person, it's not like I stay in all the time. I usually go for a walk at lunchtime and obviously do lots of running etc.

Hopefully I'll sort it soon.

Well done Fleecy. :-)

After 3 days I am now a fully qualified first aider again. And no we didn't cover Vit D deficiency, although we did cover low blood sugar levels or as I call it, Eat some bloody breakfast if you're hung over. Not to be confused with dealing with Diabetics. Painfully slow and basic course in some areas, but useful refresher in others so can't really complain,

Club Dinner and Awards tonight. Should be fun, but I'm Des so I should be ok for Park Run tomorrow morning ;-)

The vit D thing is because "everyone" went low fat no dairy and so didn't eat it - then they put on sunscreen all yr around and didn't make any.

Eggs, oily fish, butter and cheese and get your face and arms in the sun for 10 minutes every day. We're closer to the sun in winter still get plenty of vit D through exposed skin.

anyways loooong day of sports relief stuff mixed with house comps etc. am knackered!

Cstar - I really enjoyed the 3 day course, but find the annual refresher really boring

Som (((())))

well done Kim :)

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
