Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I did have a bit of a funny on my run. Always happier when I have had a loo stop so approaching the back of a hotel managed to find a way in then found some loos. Went in, door locked - is someone in there or do I maybe need a key? Went over to concierge chappy, apologised for dripping on his carpet and asked if the loo was locked, someone in there or did I need a key? 'No, that is the broom cupboard, it's the door on the left you want'. Ha ha ha ha - apparently, others had made the same mistake. Hey ho, I don't care, have found a good loo stop, in the hotel on Caversham Bridge for Readingites, rear entrance ;-) alongside the Thames.

Fleecy - it was my brother taking it - I didn't want him getting any nearer - he comments on the size of it enough at the best of times!

Afternoon - a satisfying 12 miles this morning even though as a group we paced it really badly! We finished on a 'see what you have left ' & to my amazement I managed an 8.11 mile :)
Finished the month on 134 - and was beyond 100 before you all invented the moon rule ;)

Excellent moonwork.

Fleecry. That's a great name.

I am sat watching a programme called "Ace of cakes" - sniffly dudette has a sniffly friend round so they're sniffling together upstairs and eating chocolate muffins. They came out pretty damn good. I have 14 miles tonight - how many muffins can I get away with?

In the olden days (i.e. 2014) I used to rely on having dates so that I would tidy the house just incase they popped back for a cup of tea. I've now realised that inviting dudette's mates round works in the same way that I am fearful their parent(s) may end up coming into the house.

House is tidier than it's been in months.

7 something this morning. Wet and windy but as it wasn't on a treadmill I shan't be complaining.

Nice moons y'all but I will not be providing one.

bunting Fleecy's first 100mile month bunting :)

I would provide a picture of my moon but I left my phone on the plane never to be seen again.

I definitely spend too much time here, I own more Conquercise zones here than I do in my home area :)

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
