11.5 tough off road miles this morning with the club speedies :-O But takes me to 115 for the month, a new record, so bottoms up to that:

*makes mental note to not exceed 99 miles in a month as my moon is too large to fit in a selfie*

Back from the workshop - lovely moons but if I can pass three things on they are:

Arms straight back and forward - no crossing in front of your body
Knees up - push them forwards

and....

Don't stick your moon out!!

i.e. tuck your hips under a bit

I think it became a "end of January" moon pic instead of 100 miles, GM :-)

Sounds interesting, SK

I was thinking as I ploughed through the mud on my run this morning that it would be a good move to join a running club.

Main reasons would be to make sure that intervals/track work don't get side-lined, to have some fun at XC (most likely next year now, I guess), and to run a bit more competitively on occasion.

I've looked into it before but my working hours made it impossible to get to any sessions but now my hours have changed the opportunity is there and I guess should be seized.

Now I just have to decide which club...

PaulaMc - you up for this?

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
