It could be worse, they just cancelled the Birmingham flight completely. Never flying Flybe again!

Oh to be so cosmopolitan to have a choice Fleecy.
When I lived in Devon if you flew from Exeter airport on a short distance flight, Flybe were the only operator you could use ;-)

Things might have changed since I left though.

Have no idea where Shap and Coniston are in relation to each other. Will google and will come and shake pom-poms if able :-)
Star - are your folks from Berwick - I live 20mins from Berwick.
Andy GWS, but welcome home.

Just Whatsapp'd him - he says the Manc flight nicked their plane due to leave at 3pm - he's now rebooked on the last flight at 9pm :-(

Sounds like Flybe is playing musical chairs with their planes :-(

Well, he won't be...I have a suspicion that the Manchester flight stole the Birmingham plane actually. One chap from the conference was supposed to be flying back to Heathrow and they announced it had been diverted to the other airport. I was amused to find out that BA also have difficulties telling the 2 apart :)

Flybe were definitely having a total nightmare and also weren't giving any information at all, unimpressive

I gave him your description Fleecy so he could accost you with 'Your name is Fleecy and I claim my £5' (very old reference which probably only Columba will understand) but now I see from the Mundane thread that you are back in GB (accurate geographical reference, not as in 'Team GB').

About This Thread

Maintained by iRan
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
