I'm meant to do a long run bit finding motivation to go out in this weather pretty hard. Can somebody give me a reason why I should

Because if you don't you'll only end up beating yourself up about it later!

Morning - very rainy run this morning, but no storms. Nice to be home (except have to go to Edinburgh today for a meeting). Hope today is better for you Linds, and enjoy your day RRR

I've just been given one.
If I go today, then dh can take part a memorial cycle ride for a member of his cycling club who died a few weeks ago on Sunday morning (in a tragic freak cycling accident).
Hugs to Linds. I've had pretty awful eve/morning as ds totally stressed about his new school, and losing his PE kit yesterday. They're so strict he's convinced he's going to get into trouble all the time and is beside himself with worry. Despite me trying to be supportive I think I've made him more stressed and upset. I feel awful - I'm so rubbish at these sorts of things

Lightening all night but no rain! My run was great, cool & windy with stunning views of black/blue skies in the distance. (Unfortunately I've completely forgotton how to put photo on here from iPad ). Best bit of run was everything working OK for age & not faceplanting/rabbit hole footplanting on the XC bits Travel well Ymee, I love Edinburgh, but that's not work

Very envious of that run, ferret!
TeeBee I'm quite sure you are *not* rubbish at that sort of thing! DS will settle down, it's a huge change going from primary to secondary but within weeks he'll be like an old hand.

Rain and lightening here too, but managed to sleep through most of it.
Up bright and early to register FM and me for E24 Pairs. We're in! What have you started Fleecy?!

I *am* fairly rubbish at reassurance TeeBee but that is because my child is hard to reassure. That's right - it's her fault. Occasionally and delightfully she tells me something I said helped her. We treasure these moments because they are so rare!
My washing has been very well rinsed, I've done 75 min work, if I can just get through another 180 min solid achievement I can go for a swim. The trouble with being a zero hours contract is that I can waste whole day prevaricating and achieve and earn nothing, it's like being a perpetual student.
