Panto was fantastic - even saw the ex chuckling away - and he can be a right bloody old grump!
the night started out a bit tense - he was driving, so I had text him the name of the theatre earlier this morning so that he could figure out parking etc. picked me up, then 10 mins down the road asked where we were going seriously!! he knows I dont know Edinburgh at all, I couldnt connect online from phone until 10 mins from the city centre, and then he kept going down wrong roads because he was 'sure' this was the right way after all you cant trust satnav......aaahhh!!! FFS just drop us at the theatre and go and park somewhere - at least I know me and the boys are there safe and sound!
think I will stick to booking one in Glasgow next year.
we had our chippy tea - and they have all now left.
it feels really weird that I dont have to put out a nip and a pie for Santa

hiya Bint there was someone battering on the door of a just closed golf shop as we were driving through Edinburgh tonight at 4.30 - the poor guy opened back up! why would you leave it that late!
I'm now watching 'The Holiday' and having a beer - sadly I hadnt bought any mince pies - am thinking of the calories I am saving.

lucky you! I have just had a scrape round and the only thing I have sweet-wise is the tesco megavalue dark choc that I use to make rocky road! have tried 1 bit and it is like lard in my mouth - bleurgh!
