I will have a draught/cask list and a separate bottle/can list. I may well drink ciders during the year but personally I probably won't include them as I'd want to have a separate list for them and to have three lists (so 150 different drinks) seems a little excessive :-) pint

Guess I shall join in on this... I don't remember everything I have drunk so far this year, so shall start with the empties that have not yet made it back for a refund... Most are 330ml bottles as standard.

Hapkin "Belgian IPA" - 6.7%

Hertog Jan "Winterbier" - 8.8% amber beer with extra spices
Gerardus "Winterbier" - 8.5% dark spiced beer from Lidl, actually brouwed by Gulpen
Cornet "Oaked" - 8.5% strong ale brewed with oak chips
Brussels Beer Project "Dark Sister" - 6.66% Belgian Black IPA
Kerel "Grapefruit IPA" - 4.2%, light and with some sourness, one of my favourites
St.Bernardus "Abt 12" - 10%, classic quadrupel abbey beer.

Non / Low alcohol
Cornet "Oaked Alcoholfrei" - Very similar to the normal version, one of the best non alcoholic beers I've tried
Leffe "Bruin 0.0" - It's okay, bit too sugary compared to the alcoholic version, but the mouthfeel isn't too bad.

I am sure there has been plenty of others, but this will do as a starting point.

I might separate out the cans, bottles, keg and cask.....but keep to 50...which I will get to soon enough as my records appear to tell me I have had just under 1000 different beers in the last 7 years, which is around 150 a year :-) .

OS have you flagged this thread on the Fetch Real Ale Drinkers Thread - don't want this one to kill it off I guess....

I really like Old Jock. It's a great beer for supping slowly.

I hadn't thought about FRAD to be honest, I will stick a link to this there and a link from that here....no reason why they shouldn't co-exist.

Pretty sure I've bought it in Tesco when visiting relatives in England.

About This Thread

and here we are in 2024....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise. Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2023, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.
