99 today takes me to five figures Now I need to find some way to keep motivated for the rest of the year. There’s no-one in sight ahead of me, and no-one chasing behind; it’s starting to feel a bit lonely out here…

Well done Dave, nice going. Now you’re properly warmed up, another 70,000 should be easy…
I made it to 11,111 today (did an extra 11 specially for that). It’s been a bit haphazard recently - some days I do 100 plus, other days I can’t be arsed to do any. I should make it to 20,000 for the year; 25,000 if I can get some motivation back, but that’s looking doubtful at the moment.

Gets me that way, especially in summer when I've been or am going out on my bike. An hours worth of gym work seems a bit superfluous when I'm doing three hours biking. It isn't, because it uses different muscle groups. Just feels like it is..

I'm more the opposite, Dave; I often feel motivated to do some press-ups when I've just finished a run (did 15 miles early this morning then press-ups straight after).
The problem for me comes if I don't get them done early in the day - the later I leave it the more chance I'll just decide not to bother.
I was getting 60 or so done regularly in the mornings before work. Need to get back to that...
