Bounce at one end. Bounce at the other. Bounce at one end. Bounce at the other. And so on, more or less scoring at each end each time. Dull.

Unfortunately - and despite his offer to fund his own travel etc - his national Olympics organisation declined to enter him (or, it seems, anyone else) for the event. It would also have put him first amongst his fellow countrymen in Tokyo.
