Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Bandstand made a great Fetchpoint last year. Place to leave bags and shelter if needs be.

I believe the fetchpoint will be in the bandstand. Lorraine throwing bananas and Mrs Rentboy shouting abuse ;)

Where in realtion to start/finish on the course is bandstand? Just thinking of the fueling strategy.

Well seems weird doing "only" 12 miles today, can I really still call that my long run for week??

How is everyone, raring to go?

Hi stickland. You'll do great. You've done quality training for a first marathon.

Yeah, 12 this morning felt rather short, didn't it HT?! I think Bandstand is just before end of each lap, so perfect for 4x fueling, but not if you're a 5 x fueling person, that I am. So I will be carrying mine, with lovely helpers at bandstand as an emergency backup only. Hoping to leave maybe lucozade bottles n a gel there, but will be carrying 5 gels, for every 4-4.5 miles (30 mins) fuelling. :-)G

HappyTimes, the bandstand is close to the end of the lap start finish. So you do get the official water stop and Fetchpoint quite close together I think. Not ideal for spacing out support, but the best place for supporters ;-)
