Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

3 hours out on the moor may well be glad of some warm air buffered round your pins rather than 20 minutes on the Silverknowes prom! I'll no be doing it again any time soon :p

I'm going for number 3 back and sides and maybe 1" on top. That's short for me! Lovely week 6 mile easy run with strides today. Isn't it warm out there? Breezy, but sheltered ish on canal. Was doing 5:30s in my strides! But the really nice bit was just a wee 1/4 mile at 7:00s which felt *very* sustainable. However, taper madness slowdownyoumovetoofast says I'll have a niggle or cold or my leg will drop off twixt now and Sunday week.

A last wee 12 miler tomorrow (may cut it down to 11 as we did too much in intervals at club on Wed night - 3 x 1mile repeats ended up total of nearly 11 miles. Not quite sure how I managed to misjudge that so badly!) Then a 7, 6, 5, 4 next week and... we're off! :-)G

Gav, come round chez Tindall. Mrs Tindall will shear you down to a 0.5 all over, same time she does me (no euphemism please :-)) If you don't, you will only have yourself to blame when you do 3.00.01 :-):-)

If I do 3.00.01, I'll have #0.0 all over (is this the modern equiv of I'll eat my hat?)! I think I'll leave the real hardcore haircuts to you and HappyT

Modern equivalent = I'll eat my smartphone.

1920s no hat = social pariah. 2011 no smartphone = social pariah. FACT (one of those quickly talking confident 'facts' obs :-))

Blades for me :-) Its prob a rather long 2 just now ;-) In contrast my 2 miles in 4 mile run at little faster than mara pace seemed errr NOT sustainable. Race asnt last night though so no worries :-)

is there a Fetchpoint for this one? I'm wondering whether to see about changing my plans and popping down to give a bit of moral support :-)
