Just entered this last week.Haven't heard anything yet;but I reckon I will be running it:-)
The hassle of transport and accommodation is ZERO!! I live just 3 m from the start. A nice sleep in my own bed the night before and a 10min bus journey in the morning of the race.......suites me 
I have read last years threads and couldn't see a thread for this year- hence starting one
Who is planning to run?
Have you run it before?
people say that running laps will be tough;but I q fancy it!! How did you find it?
obviously the weather will be a major factor in the enjoyability of this race as the moor is so exposed
I read that there were NO MOO COWS(!)...........these beasts are putting me off doing the Parkrun
Any tips welcome;-)

I did this last year. It is five loops but I didn't find it repetitive at all. The weather last year was poop but it made no different. I very much enjoyed it

I pb'd on very little training. 3.56. Think I blogged it if you want to look. It was an excellent race, the marshals were amazing. Really supportive. Cannot say enough good stuff about it. Would be doing it this year if I wasn't at keilder

Katypie- my PB for a marathon is 3hrs57mins- FLM in 2006
Shame I'm not in that type of shape now!! Mine was also run on very little training. I will look at your blog THANKS:-)
