Poor start! But back again on thread! Hip pain too uncomfortable (consultant in Feb re hip replacement in not too far off future). Still aiming for 2,000 although 1,600 last year was a bummer!

Bad luck torey.... poor start from me today, had to cut planned 8 miler to 6 as first hard hill had me gasping for breath, still suffering from nasty cold, and heart rate did not like being pushed. Kept it easy for rest of run. Now feeling v. tired.

Wow, it's a brutal start. I did one parkrun on Monday, 12 miles yesterday and I'm behind target! Only 3 people have done there 16.44miles needed so far. I should catch up at lunch time with 6x 1K intervals - yum.

We've got 30 in the group now, makes a change from the 100 or so normally in by default! Amazing how many miles need to be put in each day.

14 on target and I’m 61% up and in first place. I might retire there!

Still have lingering lurgy. Managed an easy 8 me s today but was shattered afterwards. I have a half marathon a week on Sunday which I usually do at MP after a 2 mile warm up. Last year I jogged round in 1:37 - thus year after 3 weeks if flu I'll be happy just to finish in a non embarrassing time.
