Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

FD - I was looking for a ton in 10 as well, but had to postpone yesterdays 20 miler which would have done the job. Not to worry though I did it this morning instead and today was meant to be a rest day so haven't lost any ground. Ran progressively from 8.03/mile and finished at 7.03/mile for a 7.39/mile average. I feel ready for bed again though as I had to get get up at 3:50am to fit it in before work :)

39.83 miles ahead now.

Lots of people seem to be having a big first month. I was bang on target yesterday, but 280-odd in the training league.

Im not having a mileage target this year as i'll end up chasing miles when i prob need a rest etc.

Saying that id hope to be somewhere near to 2000 but im more concerned of the quality of my sessions rather than chasing miles, agree with Mac though, there does seem to be alot of high mileage being logged so far this month.

TBH the league position means naff all.

If I were setting a mileage target for this year then it would probably be this one. At the moment I am a few miles up, which is due to the twenty miles I ran yesterday. Today is a rest day.

"I'm not having a mileage target " "Saying that I'd hope to be somwhere near to 2000"

Last year before injury I had decided not to have a mileage target set then realised that I still had one anyway.

I have given up and stated that I expect to run about 2400 as I thought it might be nice to socialise with the fine group of runners who hang about in here.

I know mate, i read that back and smiled too :-)

What i mean is im not going to have the target set on here as the infront/behind thing annoys!
Training for a spring and autumn marathon means ill spend ¾ of the year in Marathon training so i should be around the 2000 mark give or take.
