Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Dave - with wanting to return to my former distances but given the extent of my injuries and subsiquent down time. I needed to plan in detail

2011 will see a return to a few ultras
2012 will see a return to Comrades
2013/2014 will be 100km/possible 24hr(a maybe)
2015 Comrades with Rach_E actually running

Mac - I tore fibre in my pelvis and then got an SF in my lower left leg. Basically I was injured from Feb to August.

3 months of light running and then in December I declared myself healthy so finished December with slightly more miles

Set out ofr a few miles this morning as a lossener before an XC race this afternoon. Black ice galore. I did a 1.3 mile loop and came home for a coffee. I'll get to the course early and do a couple of laps to warm up if it's thawed out by this faternoon. I'm not racing it, just making numbers up this time round.

10.5 miles on the treadmill today. Looks like I will have to move tonights session to the same place as last week as it is easier to get to than our track.

BT - turned me into a reasonable cyclist hence having a year of playing with duathlon to give the leg longer to recover.
