Garfield, please could you put my name down for a race next Saturday, the 10th. It's the "Grand National 10K Trail Run."
It's nowhere near Aintree. It's in the village of Findon in West Sussex. The local racing stables apparently trained a National winner, though long before I was born I think.

Morning all.
Well, after another bad night with the old tinnitus, I got out of bed early & had a nice run over the River Rife & to the fields & streams of East Preston. It was a really nice 6 mile run with not another soul about.
Once I've got the washing on the line, we are going for a stroll up on the Downs.
I hope everyone has a nice Sunday & that the Easter Bunny has paid them a visit.

Happy Easter 1500ers.
Did just shy of 8 miles this morning. Changed my mind on the route part way through and opted for the shorter but nicer trailway rather than the roads.
