6.5 rainy miles run this morning. It wasn't as cold as I was expecting, so I was a bit overdressed. Pitying my poor clubmates doing a cross country this morning, they are going to get very wet and muddy - but I think that's part of the attraction of XC, isn't it? Apparently.
Barcelona is one of my favourite cities.
OH and I have done Newport Tredegar parkrun a couple of times, jennyh - lovely place.
Right, off to make a chicken in cider casserole for tea.

Off to do a couple of laps of the local XC course in a bit with my mate and her dog. Expecting to get soaked. Probably won't get too cold though, the dog barks like a maniac if we stop! She calls him The Barking Mad PT
I hope this cancelled fixture bug going round keeps up until next weeks' XC race I'm nervous already!

10 drizzly miles this morning. A couple were exceedingly slow but I don't know why. Managed to pick the pace up again in the second half to get a semi respectable average pace!

Fenland (Fenners) Runner
Seven damp miles for me, currently way ahead of the 1,500 miles per annum run rate but as I don't plan on doing much after the end of July needs to get them in early doors.

17.5 miles, several of which were across muddy and slippery footpaths, not unlike XC Legs are very tired now as it's the longest run since June or July.

Jono.
good afternoon 1500'ers
cycled 33 miles - not too chilly out there, but very blustery - irrespective of which way I went! tickled the Cheshire border.
washed the bikes, hovered the car and found out why the cats litter tray wasn't being used very much
all cleaned up now.
roast chicken for sunday lunch - had a couple of non meat days this week.

10 boggy miles in the hills this morning. We were going to go higher but we were up in the clouds as it was so decided not to go up on the tops...
