Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mrs Bridgewater I literally signed up this evening too! Monthly mileage will be slightly higher than I usually do (except when I'm deep in a marathon training programme) but hoping that's the motivation factor to just keep at it until we can actually race again.

Just a shame I am a bit broken! I will be able to walk as well as run though.

Well done HS!

I did a very slow just over 10k - am taking it easy as I don't want to get any more broken than I already feel.

Well done Hillstrider!

some great running, esp Mrs B (carrying post injury) hillstrider and Mmm

usual double effort this morning, but boy the legs didn't want to play for my second effort, paced Mrs RFJ again to a big virtual parkrun PB of 27:47... I then went out and knew the pace wasnt there so opted for a semi interval session, 2nd 5k in 27:00 (inc 8 x 150m)

6.37m in total.

Take care and stay safe...

Hi gang, I’ve been distracted of late for obvious reasons ... even letting PF back in front 😜... my mojo has been lost somewhere along the way and getting on the bike a lot more has meant run mileage has dropped .... but I’ve also signed up for the Tennessee challenge thanks to NWD pointing it out... fingers crossed it will help get me back on track .... I may have to make my bike rides private for fear of nosey folk dobbing me in for double exercise tho ... lots of friends are doing multiple exercise but I can’t see the difference in taking a dog for a walk then going for a run and a couple of times a week doing a run and a ride .... hopefully this might be a “thing” they loosen in the next week or so 🤞

Stupid bloody Garmin decided to record my run as a treadmill run today which means that it gave me zero elevation on Strava. I plotted the route for the upload here and have been robbed of 404m of elevation gain (until I work out how to fiddle it on Strava). I took photos of postboxes. 2 Olympic Gold ones and 12 further boxes. All good fun.

Gromit, the rules say that you can go out more than once for exercise (or at least they did when I last looked). In Wales you can only go out once. Husbando walks to and from his shop (2 miles away) as well as running. (Shop isn't open - he is just sitting there cataloguing books all day). I have been horrified by the 'Covi-stasi' who seem to take pleasure in going on to social media to point out other people doing things wrong.

Gromit, I have entered manually data on Garmin Connect on my laptop, when it hasn't sync'd with strava or fetcheveryone. It should then sync back.

I ran a steady 6 miles this morning in light rain. Started slowish and then increased pace each mile.
