Well done GG, I'm not far outside Glasgow on another part of the Clyde. My small section is really picturesque and we have a local Stevenson Lighthouse built in the 1700s. I'll try and remember how to add photos to Fetch as I took a picture while doing my 'big' session on Tuesday.

I definitely couldn't cope with the heat, good for you Dubairunner getting out early. Enjoy your run with your mam at lunchtime GG. Coaches are expensive GG, I have been looking again. At the moment I have no plans either, just plodding along. Good to see you building up again Peter. Keep at is Steve, you are doing very well and I really do wish you see an improvement with the medication. Well done on your runs LL, HS and everyone else. Hope you get better soon Duo, COVID and whooping cough seem to be going round here at the moment. I grew up in a small town, I had no choice but to walk to school in any weather. I now live in another small town and the school is 10 mins away - my little boy is getting ready for school, he starts in August - he will continue in nursery till then though. Tuesday's run was good, turned into a nice evening. Weather really seems to have changed now. I will be running at Sunset tonight for the solstice. Always good fun with a group hoping it stays nice. |

Thank you GG I'm so sorry to hear that Steve. It must be so frustrating. I'd forgotten it was the solstice. I'm being coached as I wanted to get under 50 mins for 10k before I turned 50 (Jan birthday) and it's great knowing what I'm doing but not having to put any thought into it. |

Quite right FF, 100k in the month 🥴 I'm glad to hear that Tuesdays run was good Lesley, and hope that you enjoy tonight's sunset run. Thanks for your good luck for my Sunday 10k. It's sad to remember that my 10 miles PB is quicker than my 10k times nowadays. It's always beneficial being coached duo. Thanks for posting the lovely photos. |

The best bit about being coached is it pops up on my training plan what I have to do & as Maverick says don't think just do! I am just thinking that all I am doing is ticking along, I would love to work on speed but I don't have the bandwidth at the moment and thinking that I can tick myself along and maybe go back next year after my foot is hopefully fixed and then work on what I want out of my running. Who is your coach Duo? Great photos I really enjoyed my very little bimble along the river and the run in the Kilpatrick Hills a couple of weeks ago, I could happily move to Scotland. |

I'm being coached by a local runner GG - He lives up the street so there's no avoiding him scottishathletics.org.uk |

Oh, the Kilpatricks are beautiful! I live on the edge of a regional park so I'm up there quite a bit.
