Thanks GG, the Hygienist appointment went well, with a 91.5% accreditation.

The lunch date mix up was very frustrating, as my legs were already tired from the morning interval session, and to then walk 3.31 miles for nothing was the last straw 😬

Well done for doing nice relaxing, recovery runs with friends.

Yes, it was a waste of time Steve, walking to and from the cafe. I was knackered by the time I got home.

Well done for this mornings run/walk 5 miles.

This morning was a walk to the polling station, and then on to the supermarket for a couple of odds and ends. Total mileage 1.69.

Just a couple of days before Copenhagen Mrsb. Training has gone well, enjoy it.

4.3 miles on part trails this morning, still unsettled skies and puddles back on the trails in places. Quite un Spring like.

Great running Steve and hope your revised lunch makes up for the mix up hs.

Good luck for Copenhagen MrsB your training should produce some excellent results.

We are having a weekend at home. I am trying to restore my energy in sleeping well and long but still waking up tired. I’m going to get myself out for a chilled run today. My friend has recently started upping her miles and she’s kicking my butt! I only just crept in the lead last month because for th marathons! Shes doing what I used to do but coach keeps my running levels down and it’s killing my targets 😵‍💫

But hoping with the weekend at home I get some jobs done around the house and have some relaxing time with Nr-gg.

Well done Steve for this mornings 4.3 miles on part trails.

GG, the lunch meet up mix up gets worse. I rebooked for the Friday, and was then informed that one couldn't make the Friday as one of her children had a nasty cough and cold. The other person said to cancel Friday and rebook for a couple of weeks time. I said that I was very embarrassed having to explain the mix up and re-booking, as requested and now having to cancel the Friday booking. Thankfully she apologised, and said that she would cancel the booking, and rebook for a couple of weeks time, as I had done more than enough trying to sort out the mess.😬

This morning was the usual Friday Farmers Walk, and tomorrow we are driving to Salisbury for the parkrun. I've run it twice, several years ago, the second being 23.05. This time I will be aiming for 28.30.

Sensible slow Peter, obviously surgery has worked then, brilliant news.
Friday faffing hs! Easy errors though, I'm sure you'll all have a laugh about it when you do finally have that lunch. Hope the Farmer's Walk set you up well for a good park run.
Wise recovery following your fifteen mile race Lesley, lovely morning here too for a change. Hope all went well on your run and park run involvement.
Your coach is ensuring a proper plan is followed then gg! Well done on obeying!!
Only did two miles because I've caught a cold and don't want it developing into anything more uncomfortable. My wife has had a chest infection and currently taking antibiotics so I'm lucky it doesn't seem to be that .

Slow and steady progress will get you there Peter.

Sorry you’ve had a deflating week Lesley hope all is ok.

How did you get in today hs? Hopefully in target and enjoyable.

Hope you and Vicky are soon fighting for Steve well done on the 2m

I went to parkrun today, but it was a sad and sobering run. One of our club members took her life this week. Lots of us turned out to remember her and her husband and daughter also came, they were understandably broken. It was so emotional esp as the last time I went to this parkrun she was cheering me on - always everyone’s greatest cheerleader.
