34 and a bit/100 after ten miles in a marked change in temperature here in south east Wales. That wouldn't have been a jump for me Maz but a helluva leap! I think age is against me though. Damn it! That's some distance done becca7, plenty of month left too!

Some excellent mileage, all.
I felt a bit achy but dragged myself out for a summery 3 miler this morning.

8.7 miles last night as ran to the club and we did some 1 mile intervals. Good start to the month mileage wise which should make up for missing some days when I hopefully move house next week.

Well done Stu, that sounds like a really tough day with the heat to contend with, as well as the distance and terrain. Hope you’ve recovered a bit now.
Gobi, sorry to hear the ribs are still sore
22.3/100. Think this will be quite a low mileage month for me, busy time with lots of things going on (both shorter races and non-running related stuff). Did two races on Sunday (wouldn’t have chosen to but the 10 miler in the morning was on our club’s long course championship and the 5k in the evening was on the short course, and I knew my nearest rival was doing both). The 10 miler was very tough in the heat, and I felt wiped out after even though it was slower than I’d planned, was pleased in the circumstances with my 5K time, but as I was tired decided to have a couple of rest days, and gave a planned 4 mile race yesterday a miss.

3.4 yesterday puts me on 22. I'm into a mini-taper now, so I won't have the weekend long mileage until I run round Riga.
I'm a bit nervous about how little running I've done for a "target" race (not really a massive target, as I just want to get round within the cutoff), but I'm feeling quite good right now and that's what matters.

What’s the race DeeGee! (And what is the cut off)? Good luck for it, I’m sure you will be fine.

I'm running the Riga marathon, which has a relatively "hard" 6 hour cutoff. On paper, this should be fine, but I've not actually run a sub 6 marathon in a fair little while, and I've not gone above 18 miles in training.
A little upsetting for someone with a 3.27 PB to be nervous about making a 6 hour cutoff, but I've got my reasons.
