Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done Richard-M! Another 4 & a bit tonight gets me to exactly 1465. Aiming to beat last year’s best ever of 1501. Should be achievable.

Great that you've hit the target Ness.
First run for two weeks today of 3.3 miles. Colitis flare up for several days and then a trip to Lapland for a few days and came home today. I did a necessary 100 metres at the Arctic Circle just for my own record!
Should do more miles now this year than for six or seven years.

I can't believe you found time for a run the same day you get back from holiday torey.
My first run since Monday a nice round 12 miles. Still below the line but I don't mind.

Five miles with a friend in the dark in parkland using headtorches this evening. Knee is ok just a visible quite big bruise. Mild, what a difference in a few days!

It is very mild. Just popping in to check how everyone's getting on. Hope you're all well. I'm getting out and doing a bit of training so actually think I might finish the year on close to 1,600 miles for the year which I'm quite pleased with.

I'm going to update the thread description ready for when I rename the thread "1,500 miles in 2023". Won't do that until Jan 1st, of course.

If anyone has races they want mentioned, please let me know and I'll add them.

Also, if you're happy to do a monthly roundup, please leave a message here. I'll happily send screenshot or word document with the details for people.

Thanks again. This is another great supportive Fetch thread.

Thanks Ness You’re lovely, you are!

I’ve had a couple of days off as I’ve got the family at home and I’ve been wallowing 😁 Got out for 5 miles for the first time since the thaw. Nice change to not be layered up to the max. Up to 1470 for the year so should get over 1500. Don’t think I’ll get much beyond though, but that’s ok
