Keen road runner esp. over longer distances.Prefer anything 10 miles or over.Ran very competitively at school.Ran the qualifying standard for the New Zealand Secondary Schools Cross Country team,However we did not travel abroad for this.Did not run competitively for over 25 years then took it up again at the age of 42.Right back into it now. I was born in Eketehuna,New Zealand and was bought up in Wanganui until moving to the U.K. at the age of 23 in 1987.Lucky enough to be coached by one of New Zealands finest schools coaches.It is still paying dividends.Funnily he is a Scotsman,not a Kiwi.
