DrDebs Should have done my home work on this race!! saw the 'hill' from the motorway and thought it didn't look 'that' bad, but some of the hills seemed impossible!!!! It didn't help that i had normal road shoes on - will do it next year!!!! With Walshes!!!!!! :-) Kind of enjoyed it, in a weird way!!! Glad i didn't break anything!!!! :-)

Slipknot69 Very tough off road race.Actually 5.7 miles.Extremely boggy at the beginning and the end which was very disruptive.Lucky to stay upright.The hill up the knoll was practically impossible to run up.However regardless managed a 4th place and 2nd in age group.Ideal if you like off road running.I personally like it a bit drier.Last race in the Somerset series.

tom_craggs Pretty disapointed with a poor run today. Tough course, the muddy bridleway was nasty but the organsiation was great, well marshalled. 17th overall.
