I started running again last year after a 18 year gap.In my late teens I was a pretty useful club runner with bests of 36.28 ,10km and a 1.19 half, all from running off less that 20 mpw in training.Started smoking in Uni and continued into my 30's ,gave up 4 years ago and now feel fantastic and I enjoy my running more now than ever. New Year still same old knee problem, but have resumed tentative training and see what happens.After 2 months of doing absolutely nothing,finally got my trainers back on.Fitness where have you gone.....Forward to 2014. Running well, but tri training means not able to fit it all in with 3 disciplines to cover. However, still managing 19 min - 5ks in training. First tri in Sept.
