Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.
The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Flitwick 10k. First thanks to Matt for getting me there, my car was dead this morning, so he added a quite a bit to his journey to pick me up. Thanks mate:-)
When they said "undulating course" they weren't kidding, when they said "fast, undulating course" they were!
See Pete Thompson lining up at the start and thought, oh well, second M50 for me today, but Matt would have none of that, so suitably encouraged I decided to try and stick with him and lo and behold I ended beating him for the first time ever today, good result for me.
Time not great, but it is one of the tougher 10k's I have done, and the priority was 1st M50. At least it didn't seem to far after all the long races lately. 10th place out of 821 runners and 1st M50, 36:01.
And fantastic weather today, how nice to be able to just sit around on the grass after a race:-)

Brilliant John...Well done. xx
Well done John, great effort and another MV50 trophy!
great running mate, and good too see you are pleased with your race, so you should be, congrats.
Super result John and well run - 1st MV50 seems to be "your" finishing position this year... maybe Mr Thompson will be glancing nervously in your direction next time you line up alongside him at the start!
Nice one. Very well done!
Forget the time John, its all about beating the people that matter and you did that! Brilliant.
