Pretty annoyed about the race today, it was a target race for me that I have been training hard for, but I don't think there is anyway it was 10k, only 6 miles on my Garmin. Annoying because I would have run a decent PB today in windy and cold conditions, but I don't think I ran 33:30 for 10k. Maybe 34:30 which I would have been more than happy with today. That's quite a big negative, but there were some positives. I beat a V50 I have never got anywhere near before and I got 1st V50 + (hopefully) £100 and I think I am running better than ever, but I'll have to wait for another race to make that official! A couple of other negatives are that I had a rush of blood and decided to track MB(the V50) an went too fast for the first mile, though it did feel pretty easy. And 2. I no longer have the excuse that I am no good running early in the morning! Also thanks to Richard and Debbie for their company today, it would have been a bit lonely there without them:-)
(I have now put in their adjusted times for 10k, though they seemed to have overdone it a bit, by my Gamin I would have run 34:43 for 10k)

Frustrating I know, it happened to me in a 10k a while ago, nevertheless an absolutely cracking time John and really shows what great form you are in and well recovered from the bike incident. I look forward to another great race in a few weeks!

Was good today but freezing cold....Hope you get your money through soon.:-)

Great time John - hopefully the verdict is a Garmin failure, not a marshall failure.

pity as you would have been well under 35 minutes had the course been right. Keep this form mate and your be smashing your pbs again this year!

I agree Rob, that's why it is so annoying, but at least it shows I am running well, even if I am not quite sure how well!

I have put in their adjuste time from the results.
