Eye 10km. Second. 33:39. Wanted quicker but must be happy with that in the wind and on that course. Should be capable of sub-33 with ideal set-up. Surprised to go through halfway on Garmin in 16:10 when I felt certain I'd go under 33, but the wind coming back was more of a slowing factor than I expected.
Went off-course slightly just before 8km and lost a couple of seconds.
Backs up the London time and shows Thursday's track session was just a blip.

You are just too hard on yourself P. A big pat on the back!

How could you go off course at 8k? There was a fence and water on your left and a wood on your right, you just follow the single file track!! Or you could have waited for Mick!! LOL!!

I don't know, Tim. Was just before some bollards at about 7.8km - I turned left whereas should have gone straight on and then immediate left over a small bridge(??). In hindsight, it was obvious it was straight on.

I know where you mean - but you're right, it was obvious where to go!! LOL!!

John was infront of you - you just need to get a bit fitter and keep up!!

Just found out Olly Mason went wrong at exactly the same point!
