KHL 5k race at Witchford, Ely, but as I am still recovering from AF, I was trying to keep the HR low.
I had a lovely time at the back, chatting to a Haverhill lady, then at just after 3km we caught up with an Ely Runner, Zoe, who we invited to join us to the end.
With 100m to go, the Haverhill lady sprinted quite fast, so I out-sprinted her. It was too short a distance to raise the HR too much.
Flatlander
I thought it was very unlady like of her to try and beat me after all the help I'd given her getting her around the course without walking :-p. Seriously though, they were enjoyable company :-).
