Forest Runner None of the forecast heavy rain appeared, and once again it was rather warm. I managed to struggle around to finish in 1:39:29, which I suppose isn't bad, as I only managed 2 weeks training for this. I was also struggling from mile 1 with a hamstring niggle just above the back of my left knee. Then I ended up wth a blister on the big toe on my left foot, which I think was probably caused because my left foot wasn't striking the ground correctly. Once again a very nice medal, a t-shirt and a goody bag crammed with drinks, fruit, mars bar, energy bar, sweets, car air freshner, etc. Almost worth the £11 entry fee.
