johntz My first XC race, and a good one at that. Muddy, stony up hill, down hill, no idea where the finish was... Great fun. Got muddy, and managed to cover a couple of runners and a marshall with mud. Sorry chaps... Set off hard up the first hill (rule number 1 -- attack every hill) so was knackered afer about 2 miles, with 2 climbs to go. Very happy with the time (although had no idea what to expect to be honest) Can't wait for the next ones...
