SparkyMark DO NOT BET ON THIS ONE!!! This is a Multi Terrain Race. Never done it before, but part of club championships so giving it a go as XC has gone so well recently. As always, looking to enjoy it. Update: course length 5.13 miles by my garmin Just got back - really enjoyed this race. Hard trails for most - very up and down. Then sticky uphill mud section at 4 and a bit miles, then tarmac for the last 0.6 miles. Wish I had known. I was waiting for 'KILLER' hill so expecting that right at the end. I would have put the hammer down earlier if I'd known it was not there. A couple of guys passed me with about half a mile to go, so tagged on the back and mullered them in the last 400m. :-) very satisfying. Loved this race. Thanks to all who marshalled today. Lovely course - a challenge - yes, but I will be back again.
