rleyton Not a race for a PB with that hill, plus the warm and sunny conditions. But quite pleased with my time all said, but looking forward to tackling my PB a bit later in the year on a flatter course back home in Glasgow. Great to have hooked up with a couple of fetchies afterwards as well.

Jiffy very hot, tough hill at 4k & 9k, but a beautiful location, lovely setting for the start in the old market place and then a finish near the moat by the cathedral, disappointed with my time to a certain extent as about 3 mins off my best BUT 81st pos from 360 fininshers not so bad.

Pitt the Elder Hard work but really enjoyable. Fantastic start and finish. When I was running up it, wished the hill wasn't part of the race but afterwards it added to a real sense of achievement. Time was not fantastic, but just pleased to complete my first proper race! Well organised, friendly marshals and I'd love to do it again next year!
