About this parkrun

An out and back course with two small loops at the start and finish. Mostly flat with only small undulations. Surface is most tarmac with a small field and some trail around halfway. Very nice parkrun with refreshments at the end.

An out & back course with a small loop that you do twice - at the start & finish. Mixed surface - tarmac paths, a bit on grass & some trail. Rolling rather than hilly - very popular, can be a bit congested. Lots of parking! Good one for first-timers.

Mixed surface: long tarmac stretches with grassed sections and an earth path along the Ship Canal. Mostly out and back, with loops round at both ends. Flat. Busy: usually over 400 runners. Water, tea, coffee and *loads* of free cake at the end :-)

Loads of parking, course gets congested at the start though so if you want a fast time don't hang back. Mostly flat, loop around football pitches can be muddy.

A massive field of runners (559 today) but so well organised! Very easy parking, a stone's throw from the start, road shoes, despite the small section across a field. Pretty flat, so a speedy run. A tad congested at the start, but soon thins out!

A nice flat course mainly on tarmac with bits of grass and trail. The route has recently changed which seems to have alleviated some of the congestion.

Out and back course with a loop at the start. Mainly on tarmac, but a little on grass. A little crowded at the start but quickly thins out

Mostly flat course, out and back with a loop. Mixture of paths with a little bit on grass. Busy but well managed. Very large car park right near the start, toilets and drinks available.

A short lap then a long lap down to the ship canal and back. Pretty flat, just a few minor ups and downs around bridges and up onto the football fields - which is the only part that isn’t tarmac. It is a quick course but quite a busy parkrun
