A flat Out'n'back alongside river & railway on a mixture of trail & tarmac , ample free parking ,toilets & a cafe - what more could you want for the perfect parkrun venue

Three sharp 180 degree turns; flat; mixed underfoot; treacherously slippy after rain; at times uneven. Parking and loo location perfect. Nice cafés nearby in Hexham. Really friendly. 300+ runners on #3 and #4 but wasn't congested. Recommendable.

Mostly trail flat out and back, some tarmac at far turning point, good cafe at the golf course.

An out and back course along the Tyne (no surprise there!) at Hexham. New paths mean less trail! It's pan flat and very scenic!
