Go-KL I'd only been living in the Midlands for a few months and I was just getting settled down. I'd only run twice before that year and so went into this race - my first ever 10km - with some trepidation. I was quite overweight at 12stone and not that fit but still gave it my all to perform a reasonable time, which looks a little better in hindsight as wisdom of living here since makes me realise that the course is overall uphill - and a benchmark to shatter the following year. Finished 53rd out of 500.
