About this parkrun
Flat, single lap, hard surface -mostly smooth footpath some rougher gravel, no toiletncp 31st Dec 2018
Flat and fast, but very exposed so susceptible to wind. Surface mostly tarmac but some hard pack gravel in the second half. Runs on pavement next to a busy road for a section so take care with youngsters (as I'm sure you do anyway!) Pay and display.

Fast, flat course, but gates across the moor combined with the large number of runners may slow you down. Wind and ice also a factor. Brilliant marshals especially Malcom on Gate 1. Cafe in the park open after the run

Can be very busy. The Town Moor is quite exposed so bad weather can make for a bit of a miserable run. Watch out for the cows in the summer months - they're not always impressed by the giant herd of humans and dogs stampeding through their moor!
