Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Baza I'm going to predict my time here - yep it'll be 2 seconds more than what my watch says :-)) *Update* Alas I was proved wrong today - it was only 1 second...lol. Good run, started steady and picked it up, even manged to runup the hill 1st time round. Lost contact with couple of runners in front on the way down and round, caught them again on the hill and made sure I never lost the ground going down the 2nd time. Last half mile was terrible, lost all energy, but held on till the finish. Good Tour - 19th overall. Well done Cake Muncher & the rest of the Fife AC mob.

Fat Boy Pleased enough with today's final stage although my calf's were mighty tight for the first couple of miles. Overall finished 38th / 130 finishers in this year's tour. Overall this is a super event and well done to all at Fife AC for organising the series.

_andy Had to hurry back to get some of those cakes at Strathmiglo Hall, so went as fast as I could for this one. Had a great run, with nasty steep bits (even some nifty walking at the steep top section of the path) followed by some lunatic sprinting down the trail in the forest. Had a great view of the leading ladies battle, as the first three passed me on the uphill path. I caught up with them, all three spread across the path, on the descent, which is my strong area, since I have both gravity (more than most) and long legs on my side. I cautiously barged my way between Helen and Morgan (they clearly weren't thinking about anyone passing them, and hadn't noticed the ground shaking) and plummeted onwards. They both bounced elegantly past me at EXACTLY the same uphill point on lap two a little later (I graciously let them pass on the slightly muddier side of the path), but it was now just the two of them, although Jennifer cruised path me later on the tarmac section and finished a few seconds in front of me. Chuffed to bits to have picked up three places in the overall Tour from this race and don't even mind that one of these was by default. What a great few days.

SueW That was another toughie! Not too bad on a normal race but hard after the previous 4 days. Still, I really pushed myself on the downhills to (almost) the point of squealing! I'm even worse on down hills (relatively) than uphills. Overall, I've enjoyed the whole thing and will definitely do it again. Thank you everyone at Fife AC.
