Tri_Harder Wedgnock 10k race. Best race ever. Pouring down with rain and the Warwickshire countryside was muddy as hell. Good preparation for race. pasta for lunch, 20min nap after work, half a banana. Started of slightly slower than normal, got stuck behind someone at about 4km for about 4 minutes on the single track. Then picked up pace, energy gel at 6km, pounded the hills overtook at least 5 healthy looking runners then steamed in for the final 2km. Couldn't quite catch the fetchie ahead of me (she had a fast finish to). Finished with energy to spare which i'm not sure whether i should be disappointed with? Time not as good as last month, a minute slower, but conditions a hell of a lot worse.
