Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Krukers Nice race as usual, well organised. Daughter enjoyed running the 3k run.(15:20)Sun came out just before the start, so warm race and breezy. Good couple of 3.45 k's at start, felt good , but then slowed a bit at 5-6-7 k's.Pleased to go sub-40. Was planning to go for longer run after but too tired.

Sime Sun came out at the start line so was quite warm, very bunched up from the start so was hard to run through the crowds. Felt good to 6K tired a litle, pushed through to 9k but struggled down last 500m

smash Having had a cold for the past week, and done no running at alll, and having pulled my calf, this was a bit rubbish. Sorry to anyone who bet on me, by 8km my legs felt as if there was nothing left, came really close to walking. The moral of the story? Don't race if you're ill.
But the race itself was well organised, plenty of marshalls and goodies at the end (shampoo and conditioner - why?!). Swansea bay is lovely, had a nice potter on the beach while waiting for the start, and the kids' races made for a real family atmosphere. Top race as always, just my contribution let it down.
