ancient This was considerably longer than 5 miles. Great confusion at start when we ended up doing 3 laps of first field despite being told there would be 2 laps! More confusion for bottom stint when we had been told there were 2 laps and were directed to start a 3rd lap, although we were then directed at top of hill a different way that took us home, so perhaps that was correct. Probably not best organised race in the world! Very soggy in places but quite fun nevertheless. Ended up 41st, which was good result for me, so happy - especially a week after Luton marathon.
