automatic shoes Better than expected. Was able to run fairly hard early on and was at halfway in 26.33. But I struggled a bit over the last 3k which was mostly uphill, plus by then it was getting quite warm, so I dropped by about a minute over the second half. But it was still an enjoyable event, for me better than the last Stortford 10 I did (with all the running through narrow alleys between houses).

Brady I enjoyed the course ran comfortably and never felt under any pressure I can do better than the time suggests.

crispy Good to be able to park, register, start&finish at the Rugby Club now although a shame it is now the Stortford 10K instead of 10 mile. Still, a nice route with a good atmosphere on a lovely day. Started off way too quick and struggled with the pace through the last 2k.

kozzie Well - not quite as predicted but I had no idea about the course. Despite my time, I really enjoyed it and put in a good mile time when the terrain was flat - even ran mile 2 in 8.49. I guess it's back to the hill training for me.
