ninder billing Decided to do this the night before. Felt good on the morning. Flat fast course with fresh weather. Run with Dulwich runner for the first few miles, then followed 2 women runners who set a good pace. Went ahead of them for the last 3 miles and kept up a good tempo, passing dozen or more runners. Was lapped by some faster runners, including Michael Kazimerski, a fellow member of Addiscombe CC, and some faster Dulwich runners. Mum looked like she was having a good time, and gave me some excellent cheers. Was pleased to finish in just over 1.21, running the second half a little faster. 8 minute miles meant that this was probably my fastest race to date.
